Abstract

The inclusion of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and increased research and development (R&D) capabilities in the most recent outline of the World Health Organization's (WHO's) international pandemic instrument signals an opportunity to reshape pharmaceutical R&D system in favour of antimicrobial product development.
