Chapter 6 Inference for other lifetime distributions

In this chapter, inferential results for several other lifetime distributions, such as Weibull, log-normal, generalized exponential Birnbaum-Saunders, Laplace, uniform, Pareto and Burr distributions, are discussed under various hybrid censoring schemes. It is particularly shown that results obtained under Type-I and Type-II censoring can be easily utilized to derive respective results under hybrid censoring. Several illustrative examples are also presented.
