Chapter 13 Adaptive progressive hybrid censoring

In this chapter, adaptive progressive (hybrid) censoring schemes and associated likelihood functions and exact conditional inferential methods are discussed. First, adaptive Type-II progressive hybrid censoring scheme is introduced and the associated likelihood function is presented. Then, the corresponding exact likelihood inferential methods are developed. Finally, adaptive Type-I progressive hybrid censoring scheme is analyzed. It is pointed out that this censoring scheme can be seen as Type-I censoring of progressively Type-II censored data.
