The application of basin analysis techniques to glaciated terrains: an example from the Lake Ontario Basin, Canada.

This report is the first of two designed to demonstrate how subsurface investigations including subsurface facies mapping, using geophysical well logs calibrated against surface exposures can provide new data regarding Quaternary sedimentation and also significant information for applied projects in connection with hydrocarbon resources in Pre-Quaternary glacial basins, offshore engineering, mineral exploration and groundwater resource evaluation. -P.Harris
