Bayesian approach to robust procedures based on censored samples

Abstract

By adopting; the Bayesian method, we develop in this paper some robust procedures for the one and two-sample location problems based on symmetric Type-II censored samples and by assuming normality for the censored samples. The posterior distributions and the Highest Posterior Density (H.P.D.) intervals are? derived. Finally, we illustrate these procedures by applying the results to Darwin's data and to Brown lee's data
