Sensitivity

Abstract

Abstract The sensitivity of a diagnostic or screening test is defined, and a relation to the test likelihood ratio is described. Clinical implications are mentioned. Alternative uses of the term “sensitivity” are also mentioned, in the context of measuring devices, outlier detection, and robustness.
