Determination of the optical properties of tissue-simulating phantoms from interstitial frequency domain measurements of relative fluence and phase difference.

Abstract

We estimated the absorption and reduced scattering coefficients of tissue-simulating phantoms from interstitial measurements of the phase difference and relative amplitude signals at two distances from a sinusoidally modulated isotropic source.
