Influence of a No-Vision Delay on Throwing Accuracy

Abstract

This study was designed to examine the influence of a no-vision delay on throwing accuracy. Subjects threw bean bags to targets 4, 6, and 8 m away after no-vision delays of 0, 5, and 10 sec. Contrary to studies examining the influence of a delay on accuracy of locomotion, a no-vision delay had no effect on throwing accuracy.
