Abstract

Strong polyacid gel-filled membranes have been prepared by UV-initiated copolymerization of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) and N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide within the pores of a microporous polypropylene (PP) substrate.
