Energy determination of the 6129 keV 16O transition

Abstract

Using newly established energy standards, which are based upon a scale derived by means of mass-doublets, and two different source arrangements, the energy of the 16O transition has been determined to be (6129.119 ± 0.040) keV. The Q value for the 19F(n, γ)20F reaction was also evaluated and found to be (6601.344 ± 0.055) keV.
