Beyond Pandemic Pedagogies in the Age of Fascist Politics

Abstract

This chapter argues that the pandemic crisis must be understood as more than a medical crisis. At its core is an ideological, political, and educational crisis. Central to my argument is the notion that the medical crisis has fed upon and intensified the energies of a fascist politics and there is a need to develop a new political language and mode of identification in which the crisis of politics is connected to the crisis of education, agency, power, and democracy itself.
