Gender and the Academy of Management Journal: A Thirty-Year Study
Abstract
This article examines the gap in gender bias-related publication using the Academy of Management Journal, a top-tier management journal, as a reference point. Specifically, we examine, over time, the difference in publication rates for women, men, and the characteristics of diverse teams of scholars in terms of their publication results.
