- Low-Dimensional Nanocomposite Fabrication and its Applications

Abstract

There is a need to develop general methodologies for an architecturally imposed order in lowdimensional nanomaterials composed of nanosystems of various shapes and sizes, such as spherical particles, rods, wires, combs, horns, and other nonspecified geometrical architectures. Dimensional and morphological tailoring is of importance, since useful and novel physicochemical properties can be decided upon by the geometry of the nanomaterials. To this end, a range of protocols have recently been introduced.
