Microwave Biomedical Imaging

Abstract

Abstract A systematic overview of past and recent developments in the microwave imaging of tissue is given with emphasis on the active microwave imaging methods. A brief outline of microwave radiometry and microwave‐induced thermoacoustics is also provided. Recent progress in applications to breast cancer diagnostics is reviewed.
