abstract

  • We present results for the electronic thermal conductivity in the superconducting state for a layered structure. The electrons are assumed to be free in the xy plane with a hopping probability from plane to plane. Eliashberg theory adapted to this geometry. with full account of the corresponding anisotropy, is used to evaluate the thermal conductivity. It is found that anisotropy can profoundly affect its temperature dependence particularly at low temperature.
