Use of double labeling and photo CD for morphometric analysis of injured skeletal muscle.
Abstract
We used computer-assisted analysis of myofiber cross-sectional areas to measure skeletal muscle responses to injury and disease. We developed a simple, inexpensive method for measuring myofiber size in human muscle samples using Kodak photo compact discs (CDs) as the image source.
