The relation between the form factor and the radius of the deuteron: relativistic effects

The relation between the relativistic form factor and the charge radius rch is examined with respect to the structure of the deuteron. The relativistic correction (known as the Karwin-Foldy term) to rch2 is related to the relativistic form factor of a composite system a la Mitra and Kumari (1977) applied to the deuteron.
