Conditions for the existence of bound states of a Dirac particle in one dimension

Abstract

For a massive Dirac particle subject to a potential in one space dimension, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a bound state. The type of potential considered consists of Lorentz scalar and vector terms, and vanishes asymptotically.
