Mossy fiber sprouting induced by repeated electroconvulsive shock seizures
Abstract
The elicitation of repeated focal seizures (kindling) induces mossy fiber sprouting in the hippocampus of the rat. The present study investigated whether repeated generalized seizures also induce mossy fiber sprouting.
