Additional evidence for the proposed excited state at ≤5 eV in Th229

Abstract

Angular distributions and spectroscopic strengths from the Th230(d,t)229Th reaction provide new independent support for the rotational band assignments which led to the proposal of an excited state at ≤5 eV in Th229.
