Lifetime of the 77keV level in 32P
Abstract
A delayed coincidence measurement of the half-life of the 77 keV level in 32 P populated by the 31 P(n,γ) 32 P reaction has been performed. The results obtained using slope, third moment, and two centroid shift analysis procedures are presented, and the mean value of 10 runs performed under different experimental conditions is T 1/2 = 253 ± 25 ps.
