Why observational studies are key? Health status outcomes and clinical care pathways
Abstract
Observational studies are needed to understand real‐world health status outcomes and clinical care pathways in patients undergoing coronary chronic total occlusion angioplasty. The overall success rate was high at 12 months with marked and sustained symptomatic benefit, and a trend of lower clinical events. These results are encouraging and support the use of this intervention in clinical practice.
