Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage and Ischemia

Abstract

In this chapter we review the major advances in the diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic management of gastrointestinal ischemia, as well as hemorrhage arising from peptic ulcers, esophageal varices, and stress ulceration.
