Speaker adaptation: An overview

This paper presents a review of techniques for speaker adaptation. Speaker adaptation is crucial in turning laboratory speech recognition system into real-world application. Three groups of SA techniques are addressed: speaker clustering, transformation-based and Bayesian approach. Several variations and directions for further investigation are also described.
