Dyslexia: neural organization
Abstract
This study suggests an association between the syndrome of developmental dyslexia and two possible neural abnormalities, a lack of right-hemisphere specialization for spatial processing and a dysfunction in left-hemisphere processing of linguistic functions. These may be the result of more antecedent conditions involving genetics, biochemistry or neural trauma.
