Epidemiology of antibiotic and heavy-metal resistance in bacteria: A computer-based data system

Abstract

A program is presented to aid in the rapid analysis of antibiotic and heavy-metal resistance patterns in micro-organisms that constitute the normal flora in man. This program is designed to reduce and analyze these data generated by a diagnostic and investigative microbiology laboratory and to serve as a pilot for pattern recognition.
