Heparin‐induced skin lesions

Six patients who developed heparin-induced skin lesions were tested for the presence of heparin-dependent, platelet-activating IgG irrespective of whether they developed thrombocytopenia. All six patients' sera contained potent heparin-dependent, platelet-activating IgG.
