Central Venous Line-related Thrombosis

Abstract

Central venous lines (CVL) have significantly improved the management of children with cancer. However, the use of CVL is associated with complications. Thrombotic complications leading to CVL occlusion and CVL-related deep venous thrombosis are common. This chapter will discuss the thrombotic complications of CVL.
