Oil, industrialization and development in Arab Gulf States.

Considers the prospects for Gulf states being able to accumulate sufficient productive capital in the non-oil sectors of their economies to offset the inevitable drawing down of oil reserves. It looks at possibilities for the Gulf Cooperation Council and within the larger Arab region and the Third World as a whole.
