Superconductivity and field-induced magnetism in Pr2-xCexCuO4 single crystals

Abstract

The onset of static magnetic order in the superconducting state of PCCO single crystals with a weak field applied perpendicular to the CuO2 layers was observed. Sample inhomogeneity played a role in this reaction and in underdoped La2-xSrxCuO4.
