63Cu NQR evidence for spatial variation of hole concentration in La2-xSrxCuO4

Experimental evidence for the spatial variation of hole concentration in La2-xSrxCuO4 high temperature superconductor was presented via ⁶³Cu nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) using ⁶³Cu isotope enriched samples. It was shown that the extent of the spatial variation of the hole concentration was reflected on ⁶³1/T1 and the temperature dependence was deduced. The length scale of the spatial variation in hole concentration was estimated to be ≳ 3 nm.
