The validity of the Nilsson model for protons states in the region A = 151 − 155

Abstract

The spectroscopic factors for (α,t) reaction studies of 61151Pm, 63153Eu and 63155Eu show that the Nilsson model in its simplest form excellently explains the observed proton states in this mass region where the structure of neutron states is extremely complex.
