On the hyperon-nucleon interaction

Abstract

Phenomenological potentials for the hyperon-nucleon interaction are set up which fit the low-energy ΛN and ΣN scattering including the Λp resonance below the ΣN threshold. Then the binding energy of a Λ-particle in nuclear matter is calculated.
