New blue-emitting and electron transport EL materials

Abstract

The synthesis of organic electroluminescence (EL) materials are described focusing on blue emitting and electron transport molecules. These materials are metal chelates and heterocyclic derivatives. A systematic study was performed on these materials to determine the factors that result in device performance. The heterocyclic molecules were found to serve as excellent electron transporters and potential materials for electroluminescent device applications.
