MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF SOME DUAL PHASE STEELS - WITH EMPHASIS ON THE INITIAL WORK HARDENING RATE.

Abstract

Data is reported on initial work hardening behavior; behavior at large plastic strains and fracture behavior. An elementary model for work hardening is proposed. Decohesion between the ferritic and non-ferritic constituents may play a role in fracture together with localized shear during void growth.
