An example of transient laminar countercurrent flow.
Abstract
This paper presents a numrical and experimental study of transient laminar countercurrent flow in which the pressure gradient is time dependent. An explicit finite difference scheme is used to solve numerically the governing equations. Experimental results are obtained with a new kind of apparatus and are found to verify the numerical predictions. (A)
