Chapter 17 The design of high performance, gel-filled nanofiltration membranes

This chapter is concerned with the underlying factors that control the performance of polyelectrolyte gel-filled membranes in nanofiltration (NF) applications. It shows how an understanding of these factors can be used to optimize the performance of this new type of NF membrane.
