ON THE FORMATION OF DIVALENT EUROPIUM PEROVSKITES OF THE TYPE EuMO3 AND Eu(M,M prime )O3.

As part of a study of the magnetic and optical properties of a series of materials containing divalent europium the authors have attempted the preparation of a wide variety of perovskite structure materials of the types Eu**2** plus M**4** plus O//3 and Eu**2** plus (M,M prime )**4** plus O//3.
