60.3: 6 Watt Multi‐Beam Green Laser for Companion Laser Projectors

Abstract An efficient and compact green laser based on multiple Nd:YVO 4 /MgO:PPLN mGreen module was developed. Multi‐beam 532 nm laser light of 6.47 Watt was obtained at 4 A driven current, which corresponds to an optical‐to‐optical efficiency of 29.9%. The size of the green laser is 6 cm × 5 cm × 2 cm. Since mGreen module were used in the multi‐beam green laser packaging, the complexity and cost of the laser has been dramatically decreased
