Comparative results of gastric banding in adolescents and young adults
Abstract
BACKGROUND/PURPOSE: Obesity has become a major public health priority. Because of disappointing results obtained with dietary and medical programs, bariatric surgery has been offered to adolescents, although this practice remains controversial.
