Hypothesis testing and sample size for bivariate binomial response in the comparison of two groups

Abstract

A test of hypothesis is proposed for the comparison of two groups with respect to two binary outcomes. In addition, sample size requirements are determined. The methods are generalized for an arbitrary number of independent binary outcomes.
