GASFÖRMIGE RADIKALKATIONEN “UNKONVENTIONELLER” STRUKTUR AUS ORGANISCHEN THIOPHOSPHORVERBINDUNGEN

Gaseous radical cations of composition [R2HPS]+. (R = Et, MeO) and [EtH2]+. pare formed by electron impact ionization of R3P(S) and R2HP(S). Their structure has been investigated by various mass spectrometric methods. It can be shown that the former ions prefer structure [R2P‒SH]+ with tricoordinated phosphorus and SH-group whereas the latter have proved to be a mixture of structures [EtHP‒SH)+ and [EtP‒SH2]+. The “unconventional” structures of these ions, all of which have no neutral counterparts, are in accordance with the results of semiempirical MO-calculations (MNDO). Gasförmige Radikalkationen der Zusammensetzung [R2HPS]+ (R = Et, MeO) und [EtH2PS]+ entstehen durch Elektronenstoßionisation aus R3P(S) und R2HP(S). Ihre Struktur wurde mit Hilfe verschiedener massenspektrometrischer Methoden untersucht. Es konnte gezeigt werden, daß erstere Ionen die Struktur [R2P‒SH]+ mit trikoordiniertem Phosphor und SH-Gruppe bevorzugen, während letztere sich als Gemisch der Strukturen [EtHP‒SH]+ und [EtP‒SH2]+erwiesen. Die “unkonventionellen” Strukturen dieser Ionen, die alle keine neutralen Analoga besitzen, stehen in Einklang mit den Ergebnissen semiempirischer MO-Rechnungen (MNDO).
