Communication, Aging, and Health: Toward Understanding Health Provider Relationships with Older Clients

This special issue on communication, aging, and health draws attention to the ways in which communication issues are central to the health and health care of older adults. This introduction provides a theoretical framework for the other articles in this issue based on the Communication Predicament of Aging model, and it highlights priorities for future collaborative interdisciplinary studies.
