Concluding Remarks

On behalf of the members of ISAC, I wish to begin by extending our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Professor Constancio Gonzalez and his organizing committee for hosting the XVIIth conference in Valladolid, Spain. The meeting was exceptionally well organized and both the scientific sessions and social events, not to mention the historic setting and ambience, left an indeliblemark on all of us. As is customary, themeeting consisted of a series of oral presentations and poster sessions spread over a period of 3 days.
