Design optimization of a spatial hybrid mechanism for micromanipulation
Abstract
Traditional parallel manipulators suffer from errors due to backlash, hysteresis, and vibration in the mechanical joints. The hybrid mechanism is built through the reconfiguration of parallel-serial structure.
