Clustering in the southern cluster survey

Abstract

This paper presents measures of angular clustering in the southern cluster survey. We present similar results for the northern cluster catalogue and attempt, as far as is feasible, to compare the two data sets. We have tried to assess the quality and completeness of the new catalogue. We find the southern catalogue to be essentially complete but suggest that detailed comparison between the northern and southern catalogues will be difficult. A fair comparison between the north and south suggests that the clustering exhibited, as measured by the angular correlation function, is consistent. Some features are found to differ between the north and south.
