abstract

• The spring 1978 meeting of the American Petroleum Institute’s Central Committee on Telecommunications and its subordinate committees was held in San Francisco on May 1–3. Both SEG representatives, Ben B. Thigpen and Reid Carter, were in attendance. The Radio Committee met on May 2 to discuss 20 items on its agenda. The committee’s recommendations were presented to the Central Committee on the following day. The present status of dockets that are of interest to geophysical users are as follows.
