Reoptimization of the Ag–Mg system

A previous thermodynamic model of the Ag–Mg system built by Lim et al. (1997) was refined by taking into account available literature data on equilibrium states of this system at various temperatures and compositions. The optimization of this system was based exclusively on critically analyzed actual experimental observations retrieved from original publications including recent data on the activity of Mg in the liquid phase at high temperatures.
