Abstract Ethylene was polymerized using both homogeneous and modified methylaluminoxane (MMAO)‐treated silica supported nickel‐diimine catalysts (1,4‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl) acenaphthene diimine nickel( II ) dibromide) in a slurry semibatch reactor.
