Adhesion to some extracellular matrix components of heat-treated HTC hepatoma cells
Abstract
HTC hepatoma cell cultures were submitted to hyperthermic treatment at 42°C or 44°C for one hour. They were tested at 0 and 12 hrs after treatment to determine the number of recovered vital cells, their ability to produce clones and to adhere to plastic surfaces previously coated with laminin, collagen type IV and fibronectin.
